The Belgian Tripel style originated in the Monasteries of Belgium in the early 20th century. For the monks that practiced and brewed there, the third Cardinal Virtue is “Fortitude.” One will need fortitude when drinking this complex, spicy and fruity libation, which is balanced by a subtle hop bite and dry finish. The 3rd Virtue is also one of our favorite local ski runs, where once again, one will need fortitude to make it through!
