This Lambic inspired ale was fermented and aged in French and American Oak barrels deep in the belly of the Bozeman Underground. Over an average of 51.5 months, a blend of bacteria and wild yeast created a complex flavor profile that is tart, funky, and fruity. During the final months of aging blackberry was added to individual barrels and allowed to referment. This year’s selected blend of barrels prominently features blackberry and the soft, sweet notes it adds on top of the complex base beer.
